Mandelbrot, Man of Chaos.

Mathematics has eluded me, frightened me even; and now it is fascinating. Of course, I am not any better at it. But there are stories and philosophies behind it -- and I can get into them; and I have been doing so. Never too late, eh? Mandelbrot is an interesting man, a rebel, although it is difficult to imagine a mathematics rebel. He is messing with people's heads even now. Maybe later I will have something on Feynman. He is right out of a "Men In Black" story line.
